You can put this solution on YOUR website!
D=RT
THE SPEED OF THE BOAT WITH THE CURRENT IS:
100=R*5
R=100/5
R=20 MPH. WITH THE CURRENT.
100=R*10
R=100/10
R=10 MPH AGAINST THE CURRENT.
(10-5)/2=5/2=2.5 MPH FOR THE CURRENT.
PROOF:
10-2.5=7.5 MPH. IS THE SPEED OF THE BOAT WITHOUT THE CURRENT.
5+2.5=7.5 DITTO.
