Question 69631: i have this problem i have to figure out.
it says this: i have these 2 equations, 40f+50c<(or equal) 37000 this equation is for weight
and 2f+3c< (or equal to) 2000 this equation is for volume
F is chicken feed
and C is calculators
the assignment says i need to find a point on the graph using algerbra and i am not sure how to do this. if you could just show me using this equation or another one in a way i would understand, that would be wonderful. she said i have to find the point where these 2 intersect on a graph. can you do this in a graphing calculator? if so how would i do that?? thank you so much!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
i have these 2 equations,
40f+50c <= 37000
and
2f+3c <= 2000
------------------------------
find the point where these 2 intersect on a graph
------------
Put them in slope-intercept form.
f<=(-5/4)c + 925
f<=(-3/2) +1000
-----------------
Enter the EQUALITIES in your calculator and graph them on the same screen.

The two lines intersect at (50.833333 , 923.75)
