Solve your equation for , which is to say arrange it in the form also known as the slope-intercept form. Then the -intercept is the point where is the constant term of the slope-intercept form. Be sure you report the -intercept as an ordered pair with a zero -coordinate. An intercept is a point that is only properly designated in with an ordered pair. Expressing the -intercept as a single number is an error.
