You can put this solution on YOUR website!

How do I work out how to find the exact value of

sin-1%28-sqrt%283%29%2F2%29

The inverse sine ( sin-1x ) is always taken
as the angle in radians in the interval
-pi%2F2+%3C=+angle+%3C=+pi%2F2, that is, the interval
[-pi%2F2,pi%2F2] which has x for its sine.

The only angle which has -sqrt%283%29%2F2 for its sine which
is in the interval [-pi%2F2,pi%2F2] is -pi%2F3.
