Question 691704: log(x+3)=2+log(x)
Can this problem be solved? I do not know what to do with 2+log(x)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! log(x+3)=2+log(x)
log(x+3)= log(100) + log(x)
log(x+3) = log(100x)
x + 3 = 100x
x = 3/99
x = 1/33
You can put this solution on YOUR website! log(x+3)=2+log(x)
log(x+3) - log(x) = 2
log[(x+3)/(x)] = 2
(x+3)/(x) = 10^2
(x+3)/(x) = 100
(x+3) = 100x
3 = 99x
3/99 = x
1/33 = x
