You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Problem# 54
(2)/(5w+10) - (3)/(2w-4)

2/(5w + 10) - 3 / (2w-4)
now the LCM of the denominator will be: (5w+ 10) x (2w - 4)
= 5w x 2w + 5w x (-4) + 10w -40
= 10w^2 + 20w -10w-40
get similar terms together = 10 w^2 +10w - 40
The expression will be [ 2 x (2w-4) - 3 x (5w+10) ]/(10w^2 +10 w - 40)
=( 4w- 8 -15w -30)/10(w^2 +w - 4)
=(-11w -38)/10(w^2+w-4)
= (11w+38) /10(4-w-w^2)
