You get this by graphing 2%5Ex, then shifting that down 5 units.

The domain is the set of all real numbers. This is because you can plug in any real number you want for x and get some number out for y.

The range is y%3E-5 because from the graph, we see that the smallest value of y is -5, but it never really gets there (or crosses over).
