You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A soap manufacturer decides to spend 60000 rupees on radio, magazine and tv advertising. if he spends as much on tv advertising as on magazines and radio together, and the amount spen on magazines and tv combined equals five times that spent on radio, what is the amount to spent on each type of advertising. use matrix inversion method to find the solution
--------
Equtions:
r + m + v = 60000
v = m+r
m+v = 5r
-----
Rearrange:
r + m + v = 60,000
r + m - v = 0
r -(1/5)m - (1/5)v = 0
--------------
Using a matrix method on my TI-84 I get:
r = 10.000
m = 20,000
v = 30,000
