Question 687068: Solve the problem using matrices.
A chemist has prepared two acid solutions, one of which is 6% acid by volume, another 10% acid. How many cubic centimeters of each should the chemist mix together to obtain 50 cm3 of a solution that is acid.
Answers:
No solution
23 cm3 of 6%; 27 cm3 of 10%
50 cm3 of 6%; 50 cm3 of 10%
4.08 cm3 of 6%; 45.92 cm3 of 10%
I think it is no solution, can someone show me all of the steps and the answer so I know how to do it? thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Solve the problem using matrices.
A chemist has prepared two acid solutions, one of which is 6% acid by volume, another 10% acid. How many cubic centimeters of each should the chemist mix together to obtain 50 cm3 of a solution that is acid.
-------------
Any mix of the 2 will be acid, between 6% and 10%.
-----
The 2nd choice is 100 cc, tho, not 50.
