You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Assuming your equation looks like this:
s=x%2Asqrt%282%2Ag%29%2F%28x%2By%29
you can multiply both sides by (x+y)
%28x%2By%29%2As=%28x%2By%29%2A%28x%2Asqrt%282%2Ag%29%29%2F%28x%2By%29
the x+y factor on the right hand side will cancel out leaving you with
%28x%2By%29%2As=x%2Asqrt%282%2Ag%29
Then, distribute the s among the (x+y) factor on the left hand side
sx%2Bsy=x%2Asqrt%282%2Ag%29
move the sx term to the right by subtracting it from both sides
sx-sx%2Bsy=x%2Asqrt%282%2Ag%29-sx
which wil leave you with
sy=x%2Asqrt%282%2Ag%29-sx
then finally divide both sides by s to isolate y
y=%28x%2Asqrt%282%2Ag%29-sx%29%2Fs
which could also be expressed as
y=%28x%2Asqrt%282%2Ag%29%29%2Fs-x
