You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The larger of two numbers is 9 more than the smaller. Their sum is 95.

If we called the smaller number n, then the larger would be n+9

larger + smaller = 95

%28n%2B9%29%2Bn=95
2n%2B9=95
2n%2B9-9=95-9
2n=86
2n%2F2=86%2F2
n=43
The smaller number is n=highlight%2843%29
The larger number is n+9 or 43+9=highlight%2852%29

Sanity check...do the two numbers really add to 95?
43+52 does equal 95, so we are not completely crazy :)
