Question 68627: b^2 - 4ac is called the discriminant of the quadratic equation.
Consider: if
b^2 - 4ac < 0

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If b^2-4ac<0 the roots of the quadratic function
are unequal and they are complex. That means they
are not Real Numbers.
