y varies directly with x is: y=kx
k=3, so
y=3x
Let x=0 and solve for y:
y=3(0)
y=0 plot (0,0)
Now let x=2 and solve for y:
y=3(2)
y=6 Plot (2,6)
Connect the two points and you have a line:
