1. Find the LCD of the fractions
--> 10 = 2 · 5
--> 12 = 2 · 2 · 3

The LCD = 2 · 2 · 3 · 5
= 60

2. Make an equivalent fraction of 9%2F10 and 4%2F12 having the same denominator.
54%2F60 - 20%2F60

= 34%2F60
