15 -1(x-6) = 6 -1(3x+5)

Use Distributive Property
15 - x + 6 = x - 3x - 5

Combine like terms, Add or subtract variables (x)
21 - x = -2x - 5

Add x both sides so that the variable will be on one side of the equation
21 - x + x = -2x + x - 5

Combine like terms, Add or subtract variables (x)
21 = -x - 5

Add 5 both sides, so that the constant will be on the opposite side of the variable
21 + 5 = -x - 5 + 5

Add the constant to simplify
26 = -x
26 = -1x

Divide both sides by -1
