3x-12 > 7x-9
Subtract 3x from both sides to get:
4x-9<-12
Add 9 to both sides to get:
4x < -3
x<-3/4
----------
Draw a number line. pick and point and label it -3/4
Darken all the points to the left of -3/4
Put an open circle on the point -3/4.
That is the graph you want.
