Question 684384: Determine the equation of the line in slope-intercept form when given a slope of 3 and a point on the line of (3,5) I tried to figure it out but I guess it was wrong Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Use the slope and point within the point-slope formula
y-y1=m(x-x1)
y - 5 = 3(x-3)
Distribute the 3
y - 5 = 3x - 9
y = 3x - 9 + 5
