-5(6z+2) Distributive Property. Multiply (-5) by everything inside the brackets, then remove them. So it would be, -30z-10. Now, determine what -30 and -10 have in common (like terms) then divide. So if you divide by -10 it becomes.. -10(3z+1)Keep in mind the negative sign in the -10, because it transforms the -10 into +1.
-7(p+2)+7p becomes-> -7p-14+7p Now since -7p and 7p are like terms, you can group them together. (-7p+7p)-14 becomes-> (-14)
