Question 683327: Please help me with this problem:
A) If a medium pizza costs $5 and a large pizza is $8, write an equation in standard form that models the possible combinations if you have $40. (Let m = medium and l = large.)
B) If you bought only medium pizzas in problem A, how many could you purchase?
C) If you bought 4 medium pizzas in problem A, how many large pizzas could you purchase?
For problem B, my answer is 8 m pizzas.
For problem C, my answer is 2 l pizzas.

Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

You really don't want an equation for this model, you need an inequality. No one says you have to spend ALL of the $40 you have, right?
