You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Please help to simplify
-16^-3/4
-------------
= -[16^(-3/4)]
The exponent says "invert", "cube", "take the 4th root"
and you may do them in any order:
Taking the 4th root so the number becomes smaller you get:
= - [2^(-3)]
Cubing you get:
= -[8^(-1)]
Inverting you get:
= -(1/8)
That's all you can do.
