Nt sure what you want, if it is to be simplified, let's do this;
-5/2 +- sq rt -75 /2
First we need to apply the imaginary number idea which is sq rt -1 = i
-5/2 +- sq rt 75i /2
Now rewrite 75 as 3*25
-5/2 +- sq rt 25*3i /2
Rewritten as:
-5/2 +- 5i sq rt 3 /2
This can be rewritten as:
(i sq rt 3)/2
or
(-10i sq rt 3)/2
