L = 3S + 30
:
The ratio of the number of small ones to large ones was 1 to 6.
S%2FL = 1%2F6
Cross multiply
6S = L
replace L with (3S+30
6S = 3S + 30
6S - 3S = 30
3S = 30
S = 10 small one
then
3(10) + 30 = 60 large ones
