You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1.) -3 = 7 - 4y
(-7)-3=(-7)+7-4y
-10=-4y
4y=10
y=4%2F10
y=2%2F5

2.) 2x + 4(3x - 6) 4 - (6x + 2)
Can you verify that you typed in problem 2 correctly?
THIS PART DOES NOT MAKE SENSE: "4(3x - 6) 4" is a "+" or "-" missing?

3.) 3(2x + 6) + 3x = -27
6x+18+3x=-27
9x+18=-27
9x=-45
x=-5

4.) 4(x -1) = -6(x + 2) + 48
4x-4 = -6x-12+48
4x-4 = -6x+36
add 6x to both sides
10x-4=36
add 4 from both sides
10x=40
x=4
