How do you find the area of a circle with a square (with side length of 2) inside of it?
Draw the picture and label the sides of the square.

Use Pythagoras: diagonal = sqrt(2^2+2^2)=sqrt8 = 2sqrt2
So, the diagonal of the square is 2sqrt2.

The area of the circle is pi* r^2.

Area = pi*2
