You can put this solution on YOUR website! factor completely : 2x^2 - 4xy + 8xy - 16y^2
Combine like terms
2x^2 + 4xy - 16y^2
factor out 2
2(x^2 + 2xy - 8y^2)
Further factor to
2(x+4y)(x-2y); you can FOIL this to confirm it.
