You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Multiply both sides by 6, the LCM of 2 and 3
...
6%2820%29+-+6%28z%2F3%29+=+6%28z%2F2%29
...
120+-+2cross%286%29%28z%2Fcross%283%29%29+=+3cross%286%29%28z%2Fcross%282%29%29
...
120 - 2z = 3z
120 = 3z + 2z
5z = 120

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

20-z%2F3=z%2F2...here you have whole number 20 and fractions -z%2F3 and z%2F2; so, you need to get a rid of fractions and have all whole numbers
in order to do that, you need to multiply both sides with LCD for 2 and 3 which is 6
20%2A6-%28z%2F3%296=%28z%2F2%296
120-%28z%2Fcross%283%29%29cross%286%292=%28z%2Fcross%282%29%29cross%286%293
120-2z=3z
120=3z%2B2z
120=5z
120%2F5=z
24=z

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
+20+-+z%2F3+=+z%2F2+
Multiply both sides by +6+
+120+-+2z+=+3z+
+5z+=+120+
+z+=+24+
-----------
check answer:
+20+-+z%2F3+=+z%2F2+
+20+-+24%2F3+=+24%2F2+
+20+-+8+=+12+
+12+=+12+
OK
