Question 679000: -6log3(x-3)=-24 so far : log 3 (x-3)^-6=-24 3^-24=(x-3)^-6 this is as far as I can get, do you have any other ideas to answer
Answer by Jolliano(16) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Firstly,seperate the -6 from the log. It gives
-6 * log3(x - 3) = -24.
Divide both sides by -6. The equation then becomes
log3(x - 3) = 4.
Therefore,
(x - 3) = 3^4
x - 3 = 81
x = 81 + 3
x = 84
