You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph 3x+2y > 5 to get

The shaded region in green above represents all of the points that satisfy 3x+2y > 5

The three points (2,5), (3, 7) and (4, 8) all lie in this green shaded region.

You can show this algebraically.

Check:

3x+2y > 5

3(2)+2(5) > 5 ... Plug in (2,5)

6 + 10 > 5

16 > 5 ... which is TRUE. So (2,5) is a solution.

----------------------------------------------

3x+2y > 5

3(3)+2(6) > 5 ... Plug in (3,6)

9 + 12 > 5

21 > 5 ... which is TRUE. So (3,6) is a solution.

----------------------------------------------

3x+2y > 5

3(4)+2(8) > 5 ... Plug in (4,8)

12 + 16 > 5

28 > 5 ... which is TRUE. So (4,8) is a solution.
