You can put this solution on YOUR website!
C cats equals D dollars; divide both sides by C
1 Cat equals (D/C) dollars
We are told that 1 parrot costs (7/4)(D/C)=(7D)/(4C) dollars
1 parrot equals (7D)/(4C); multiply both sides by P
P parrots equals (7PD)/(4C) dollars

Hope this helps-----ptaylor
