You can put this solution on YOUR website! Harvey has 12 coins in quarters and dimes, worth $1.80. How many dimes does he have? -------------
 Let number of quarters be "x"; Value of these is 25x cents.
 Number of dimes is 12-x; Value of these is 10(12-x)=120-10x cents
 ------------
 EQUATION:
 value + value = 180 cents
 25x + 120-10x = 180
 15x=60
 x=4 (number of quarters)
 12-x=8 (number of dimes)
