Answer by sachi(548) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! the ratio of ducks and frogs in a pond is 37:39
let the no of ducks and frogs is 37x &39x
so total no=37x+39x=76x=152
or x=152/76=2
so no of frogs=39*2=78
ans
dear student the answer is 78 as you have give the total no is 152
now in this type of ratio problems the ratio must be constant =37:39 here
so the nos will be multiples of this no
so the no of frogs may be 39,78 ,117,156,234 so on
& also the no of ducks be 37,74,111,148,214 so on
so as to maintain the ratio of 37:39
ok
