You can put this solution on YOUR website! first we can figure out the cousin's age when the subject was 24 yrs old

1/4(24/1)
24/4=6
we multiplied 24 by 1/4
if the subject is now 51 we must subtract 24 from 51 to see how many years have gone by
51-24=27
so then we add 6 (the age the cousin was) to 27 the amount of years that have passed
6+27=33
the cousin is 33 years old now
