Question 673672: IF p and q are two relatively prime positive integers such that p+q=10, p
Answer by MistyHoneycutt(2) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hello, P is three. We know this because it has to be a relatively prime.. The prime integers that up to ten are: 1,2,3,5,and 7. If we use one, Q would be nine but nine isn't prime. If we used two, Q would be eight which also isn't prime. If we used three, Q would be seven. Seven is prime so we know that: Q=7 and P=3. Let me know is this helps any.
