A does 4/5 of a work in 20 days. 4%2F5+=+20%2F25+ 1/25 per day 

 In 3 days then 3/25 of work:   1/5 - 3/25 = 2/25 left for B to do in 3 days

  3%2A%282%2F75%29+=+2%2F25

 B can do 2/75 of the total work in one day. 37.5%282%2F75%29+=+1

  37 1/2 days to do the whole work
