3x + 3y= y + 1 --> 3x + 2y = 1
x + 3y= 9 - x --> 2x + 3y = 9

3x + 2y = 1 times 2 --> 6x + 4y = 2
2x + 3y = 9 times -3 --> -6x - 9y = -27
------------
6x + 4y = 2
-6x- 9y = -27
-------------- Add
-5y = -25
y = 5
----------
3x + 2y = 1
3x + 10 = 1
x = -3

Not sure what a "perfect answer" is.
