You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solution to this equation 3|2a+7|=3a+12
Divide both sides by 3 to get:
|2a+7|=a+4
2a+7 is either negative or not negative.
If it is negative you get:
-(2a+7)=a+4
-2a-7=a+4
3a=-11
a=-11/3
---------------
If it is not negative you get:
2a+7=a+4
a=-3
-------------
SOLUTION:
a=-3 or a= -11/3
