Question 67131: We are suppose to answer this question and it is really confusing me and i'm not sure how to answer it correctly.

fractional exponents to represent the roots of a value.
Such as

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Using the laws of exponents again, explain why it makes sense to use
fractional exponents to represent the roots of a value.
Such as
9^(1/2) = 3
Using fractional exponents it is easier to figure out
problems like [sqrt3 *(cube root 3)]
Rewriting with fractionals you get;
3^(1/2)*3^(1/3)= 3^(5/6)
That was easy but how would you handle original statement of
the problem?
Fractional exponents simplify multiplying, dividing, raising
to powers and finding roots because the laws of exponents apply.
