You can put this solution on YOUR website! How would I simplify this expression
(54b^4x^4/16bx^2)1/3
1st: Reduce the fraction within the parenthesis.
=[(27/8)(b^3)(x^2)]^(1/3)
Break the fraction into two factors.
Let the 1st fraction contain all the "perfect cube" factors.
Let the 2nd fraction contain the remaining factors.
Proceed as follows:
=[(27/8)(b^3)]^(1/3) * [x^2] ^(1/3)
Simplify the "perfect cube" factor to get:
=(3/2)b * [x^(2/3)]
Cheers,
Stan H.
