what is the amplitude and period for y=5-(cosx/3)?
Equation for cos function: y=Acos(Bx-C), A=amplitude, Period=2π/B
For given equation:5-(cosx/3)
amplitude=1
B=1/3
Period=2π/B=2π/(1/3)=6π
