-2x+6 = 3x-21
6 = 5x-21
27 = 5x
x = 27/5
=================

-2x-5=3x-21 *** Not -2x-5
-3x -3x
-5x-5=-21
+5 +5
-5x=-27 **** You added 5 to -21, = -16 not -27
-5x\5=-27\5
x=-5.4 **** Both sides are - --> x = 5.4
