Let p be pears. Let x be peaches and y be plums.
You are told
y+=+4.5p
x+=+2p
and
45+=+p+%2B+x+%2B+y
45+=+p+%2B+2p+%2B+4.5p
45+=+7.5p
45%2F7.5+=+p
6+=+p
You bought 6 pears.
Now solve for peaches. peaches = y = 2p = 2*6 = 12
Plums = x = 4.5p = 4.5*6 = 27
