All you do is just replace the x in the equation with the given value and work out the result:
a. f%280%29+=+0%5E2-7%280%29%2B10

b. f%285%29+=+5%5E2-7%285%29%2B10
f%285%29+=+25-35%2B10
f%285%29+=+0
c. f%28-2%29+=+%28-2%29%5E2-7%28-2%29%2B10
