You can put this solution on YOUR website! Perpendicular lines have negative inverse slope.
...
If slope is 4, perpendicular line will have slope of
...
Using (0, -3), which is the y intercept

You can put this solution on YOUR website! (0,-3) slope 4
The perpendicular line will have a slope of (-1/4) because (m1*m2=-1) if m1 & m2 are the slopes of the perpendicular lines
Plug point and slope in y=mx+b to find the Y intercept
-3=(-1/4)*0+b
b=-3
the equation will be y = (-1/4)x -3
