I think you mean to ask whether the given equality is true or false. You can start either by multiplying numerator and denominator of both the sides or can multiply conjugate denominator to both right and left hand side separately ( It will convert denominator part in real number ).
You need to have real and imaginary parts equal for both sides. ( Try by yourself and you will find given equality is wrong )

Here only important thing which you need to be knowing is that square(i) = -1.
