Question 669593: I got a 60 percent on my test and that is worth 30 percent of my grade. In addition to this I have an opportunity to earn 15 percent for participation, 30 percent for a report and 25 percent for a group presentation. Assuming I got a perfect score on the rest of my projects what would my grade be taking into account the 60 percent I earned on my first exam (worth 30 percent of my grade).

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Your grade would be calculated by multiplying each grade times its percent value (written as a decimal) and adding up all the results.
30%=0.30 as a decimal
Also, 15%=0.15 and 25%=0.25.

The other grades added together account for
15% + 30% + 25% = 70% = 0.70 of the final grade.
Perfect scores in the rest would give you 70 points in the final grade.
Added to 60-0.3=18 points already earned in your test, that gives you a maximum possible grade of
70%2B18=highlight%2888%29

Scores of 100 for participation, 85 for the report and 95 for the group presentation would mean a grade of
