Plane I 250 mph
Plane II 290 mph

They are moving in opposite directions
so effective speed = 540 mph
Distance = 1350 miles

Time = distance/speed
Time = 1350 / 540
Time = 2.5 hours
Time = 2 hours 30 minutes
