10 - (b-6) = 8

Distribute the -1

5-%28b%2F2-6%2F2%29=4
5-%28b-6%29%2F2=4..both sides multiply by 2
10-%28b-6%29=8

16-b=8.....move -b to the right and 8 to the left
16-8=b
8=b
