You can put this solution on YOUR website! x = 8y - 9
x + y = 90
8y - 9 + y = 90
9y = 90 + 9
9y = 99
y = 11 degress for the complementary angle
...
x = 8(11) - 9 = 88-9 = 79 degrees for the angle
