You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Please help me with this homework question: How far will two cars traveling at 300 km/h in opposite directions travel in two hours?
I have tried this and think it is 600 km
-------------------
If both cars are going 300 km/hr in opposite directions, their speeds are added --> 600 km/hr
In 2 hours they're 1200 km apart.
-------
If the speed of one relative to the other is 300 km/hr, then it's 600 km/hr.
======================
I suspect it's the former, but not certain. The problem is not well posed.
A speed should include relative to something. If it's 300 km/hr wrt (with respect to) each other --> 600 km
If it's 300 km/hr wrt the Earth --> 1200 km
