Im supposed to use long division. Ive tried almost everything and got help but i just dont get it. I have a test on polynomials. I know how to get the 3x^2 and the 3 (in the answer 3x^2+7x+3) I just dont know how you get 7.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You divide the 3x^3 by x and get 3x^2
You multiply (x+5) by 3x^2 and get 3x^2+15x
You subtract that from 3x^3+22x^2+38x+15 to get 7x^2+38x+15
You divide that by x to get 7x
You multiply (x+5) by that to get 7x^2+35x
You subtract that from 7x^2+38x+15 to get 3x+15
You divide that by x to get 3
You multiply (x+5) by that to get 3x+15
You subtract that from 3x+15 and get 0
-----------
So the quotient is 3x^2+7x+3
